New Accessible Trail!

Universal Access Trail — 1/2 mile, open for walking, rated for wheeled mobility devices. Located in Bridgeton on the historic Peabody-Fitch Farm established in 1797.

Peabody-Fitch Woods (PFW) is a 252-acre forest surrounding the fields of Bridgton Historical Society’s (BHS) Narramissic Farm. LELT conserved the forest in August 2019. The woods and trails are available for public use year round.

​For over 50 years Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) has helped enrich the lives of older adults and their caregivers in Cumberland and York counties. Along with serving as a hub of information and resources, SMAA addresses a wide range of concerns for older Mainers, including nutrition, wellness, social isolation, finances, housing, and respite.

The Institute for Integrative Aging at Saint Joseph’s College is a program aimed at providing rural older adults access to a creative, age-friendly, learning environment. At the same time, they are creating a student body and workforce that is well-equipped to support a rapidly growing aging population through the development of new courses and certificate programs.
