New Accessible Trail!
Universal Access Trail — 1/2 mile, open for walking, rated for wheeled mobility devices. Located in Bridgeton on the historic Peabody-Fitch Farm established in 1797.
Peabody-Fitch Woods (PFW) is a 252-acre forest surrounding the fields of Bridgton Historical Society’s (BHS) Narramissic Farm. LELT conserved the forest in August 2019. The woods and trails are available for public use year round.
For over 50 years Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) has helped enrich the lives of older adults and their caregivers in Cumberland and York counties. Along with serving as a hub of information and resources, SMAA addresses a wide range of concerns for older Mainers, including nutrition, wellness, social isolation, finances, housing, and respite.

The Institute for Integrative Aging at Saint Joseph’s College is a program aimed at providing rural older adults access to a creative, age-friendly, learning environment. At the same time, they are creating a student body and workforce that is well-equipped to support a rapidly growing aging population through the development of new courses and certificate programs.
